We Were Here Forever is a cooperative puzzle game for two players by Total Mayhem Games. The fourth entry in the We Were Here series takes a pair of explorers into the mysterious Castle Rock, where they must work together to escape. Each player sees their own part of the puzzle, and communication through walkie-talkies is the key to solving them.

Gameplay and Communication

The core gameplay revolves around asymmetric puzzles where each player is in a separate room. One sees clues while the other interacts with mechanisms. Communication is limited to in-game walkie-talkies with restricted range. Accurately describing what each player sees and collaborative logic are all you need to progress.

Castle Rock

The dark atmosphere of Castle Rock creates a medieval horror setting. Corridors, dungeons, towers, and secret rooms hide complex mechanisms and riddles. The visual style combines Gothic architecture with fantasy elements, creating memorable locations for each chapter.

Puzzle Difficulty

We Were Here Forever features the most challenging puzzles in the series. Each chapter introduces new puzzle types: from color codes and musical ciphers to multi-step mechanical puzzles. Completion requires patience, attention to detail, and strong coordination between players.
