You are Wolf, a one-armed shinobi with a prosthetic weapon, rescuing your young lord in a mythological feudal Japan. Unlike Dark Souls, Sekiro emphasizes precise deflection and vertical traversal with a grappling hook.
Posture System and Deflection
Sekiro's combat revolves around posture — a balance gauge. Precise deflections fill the enemy's posture bar, opening them for a deathblow when full. Enemies fill your posture bar too. Every fight is an exchange of strikes and deflections in a rhythm of steel. Health damage weakens posture recovery. The system punishes passive play and rewards aggression.
Shinobi Prosthetic
Wolf's prosthetic arm houses various tools: shuriken, flamethrower, axe, spear, and umbrella shield. Each tool is effective against specific enemies. Upgrades unlock powerful versions. The prosthetic consumes Spirit Emblems — a limited resource.
Bosses
