Rocksmith 2014 Edition Remastered is an interactive learning tool for playing a real electric or acoustic guitar. Unlike Guitar Hero, you connect a real instrument to your computer via a special cable and play actual notes. The system adapts to your skill level dynamically.
Learn Through Playing
Rocksmith tracks every played note and automatically adjusts difficulty. For beginners, minimal notes are displayed and gradually added as skills improve. Built-in lessons teach techniques: bends, slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and chords.
Song Library
The base version includes over 60 songs ranging from classic rock to metal and indie. The DLC store offers hundreds of additional tracks from Metallica, Iron Maiden, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, and other artists. Each song includes arrangements for lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and bass.
Game Modes
Session Mode lets you jam with a virtual band that adapts to your tempo and style. Mini-games train specific skills in a gamified format. Multiplayer allows competing with a friend on split-screen, each with their own guitar.
