MADNESS: Project Nexus is a brutal action game by Gibbing Tree, based on the iconic Madness Combat web animation series by Krinkels. The game embodies the series' signature style: violent combat, stylized characters, and uncompromising action. Two main modes offer a story campaign and endless arena battles.

Story Campaign

Story Mode tells a tale within the Madness Combat universe. You progress through levels fighting hordes of enemies in corridors, laboratories, and open areas. Each level can be completed solo or in co-op with up to 4 players. Bosses and mini-bosses add variety to standard gunfights.

Arena Mode

Arena mode offers a roguelike-style loop with character progression between waves of enemies. Hire a squad of mercenaries, equip them with weapons and armor, and survive escalating chaos. Between rounds, purchase upgrades and equipment with earned money.

Weapons and Customization

The arsenal includes dozens of firearms and melee weapons: from pistols and shotguns to swords and fists. The customization system allows modifying weapons with suppressors, sights, and extended magazines. Combat moves include grabs, throws, and environmental interactions.
